it has come to the notice that market commitees have,nt got a real authoritative role in agriculture whole sale markets (mandis) due to which they can not put a strong control over the farmers and middle men...it is expected that if market commitees do have the authority to place a fine on some one overcharging the agriculture commodities in agriculture markets and have the full authorities as the special magistrates are holding in punjab...then their might be the high level of efficiency seen in the functions and responsibilities of market commitees in punjab...even in Itwar bazars they does,nt hold a real authorities which results in a fact that Middlemen/Farmer does,nt consider them as beng really the valuable/Influential body...I would love to have comments on this post from the peoples of different perception level so as to develop a real idea representing the thoughts of majority of peoples ...
